J’ai voulu ce site pour partager mes créations avec famille et amis – et avec d’autres qui trouvent comme moi inspiration et divertissement dans le monde animal. Et si vous aimez ce que je fais, je vends régulièrement mes créatures (surtout lorsque je manque de place !) Sinon il est possible de me passer commande.

J’ai appris à manier la terre en pension en Angleterre et j’ai continué à parfaire ma technique au cours de voyages et de rencontres. Mon atelier se trouve dans un château du 10e siècle dans un petit hameau Jurassien* et je trouve mon inspiration dans la faune d’ci et d’ailleurs. La nature est pleine d’humour ; exagérer les formes et les personnalités me fait sourire.

Not creating a whole hellova lot at the moment… My grand-daughters are on a prolonged visit and discovering the world anew through their eyes is constantly fascinating and hugely time-wasting! I did, however, manage to finish a penguin before their arrival, although the cold, damp weather means the clay is taking an age to dry and I haven’t been able to do a firing.
The scale of things
Since launching my site properly last week, I’ve received so many lovely emails, full of kind words and encouragement…you know who you are.
One point Peter made: you can’t tell the scale of my sheep…
An idea of scale
Yep, I know, I should add measurements to all the photos…but I haven’t yet got round to it. Not enough hours etc. But meanwhile, here’s a clue.

I’ve just emailed my website URL to a list of unsuspecting friends, family and aquaintances, causing my laptop to semi-crash and prompting an immediate response from my friend Alain complaining that the duck he bought isn’t featured….
